Fell and broke part of my hip. Dr Piza did emergency surgery to put humpty back together again! He was kind and caring and did a great job! The people in his office were also wonderful. His ratings should be much higher even the hospital holds him in hi regard. They assured me I was in good hands and they were so right!

Numerous knee replacements due to repeated infections. Numerous full hardware removal procedures to combat infection…went to a different surgeon because I became septic again…this surgeon did a full hardware removal…but he did extensive removal of scar tissue and what he found was a part that did not coincide with the hardware I had in my knee…the part was traced back to a previous knee replacement…I had 7 titanium knees in total -The part dated to knee #3. I cant blame him for me getting infected. I just dont understand how this small piece was overlooked so many time…every time I went under the knife for a full hardware removal…I found out the hard way that this was not the case….as per other surgeon…this piece was repeatedly left behind…easy to locate with xray…as per infectious disease

First of all where do I start.. I don't have anything against Dr. Piza himself as he is a "professional Ortho surgeon". However, the office staff is very childish and rude. My husband went in 2x and self payed to check his collarbone fracture and they did x-rays which they only give you a disk for (No copies, no emails). The first time they gave us a blank disk & when I called to see if they can give me a new one, it was justified that it was my computer that didn't read them. But I took the CD to an imaging xray center and they said as well that it was empty. Then we requested a new set of Xray on the second appointment. One of the girls that answered the phone put me on hold for like 4 minutes but I had to jump off for a work zoom meeting and hanged up to call back after my meeting was

DO NOT GO HERE! Dr. Piza has no manners nor compassion for his patients. He immediately entered the room with an angry and annoyed attitude. I explained to him my situation of having just finding out my finger was broken after 3 months. I understand this is kind of insane and I went into the consultation with the idea that maybe nothing could be done since it has been a while now, however, the pain I still felt encouraged me to come in and get it checked out. He arrogantly just stated this is how it will be and that was it. No means of explanation or any compassion. My dad and sister and I were left with our mouths open at his ridiculous attitude - I almost wanted to apologize for even coming in! I came into his office looking for guidance and answers as any patient would see a doctor for

In 2010, Dr. Piza completed surgery and cared for my shoulder after a SLAP tear and severe rotator cuff injury in which my bicep was detached. He was kind, patient, listened and answered any questions I had thought the process. That included six months of therapy prior to surgery, the surgery and recovery time, and about seven months afterwards. I attribute my success and range of motion to his skill and ability to determine my medical needs throughout the time that he treated me. I have recommended several friends to him because of this.
