Dr Truong is a very caring and attentive Dr. She never rushes through my appointments. She listens to and answers my questions. I really appreciate that she’s my doctor. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have recommended several friends to Potomac Family practice and will continue to do so.

I’ve been coming here my whole life. And I think what makes this place special is that it’s a family practice. My whole family comes here and Dr. Lee and Dr. Troung has been taking care of us exceptionally. Yes, some days you will leave with just bloodwork done (as others say). And yes, they will refer you to a specialist when they want a specialized opinion. They aren’t doctors who are just going to prescribe you or give you medications you don’t need. They like to observe what’s going on and do proper rule outs. They know when something is a red flag and will address it immediately. This is a good practice to stay long term because they will take the time to get to know you well.

20 years ago this place was exceptional, but now they don’t care what is wrong with you! They make your appt and when it’s time to see the doctor. They say you should see a specialist. I have severe medical problems, but the only test the doctor would do was a routine physical and associated blood work. So here it is 7 months later and no help. Doctor just dismissed all of my symptoms again and again. So I’ve had to treat myself since the doctors refuse to! I strongly encourage you to go to a different doctors office, not Potomac family practice or its entity……
