Presbyterian Family Medicine in Clovis at Plains Regional Medical Center

This review is for pediatric side regarding Dr. Cabrera and his staff. I have never found a pediatrician who cares about his little patients as much as Dr. Cabrera. He is very attentive, caring, and funny and the best he tries to make his patients as comfortable as possible me when examining. Not to mention makes sure the parents concerns are met at the visit each time. He’s truly is one of the very best doctors and my children are very lucky to have him as their doctor.

Currently pregnant did a genetic test and trying to get my husband blood work done. I spoke with a nurse who is very helpful but I spoke with two people one female, who was very rude over the phone and this morning and male was very rude and not helpful. I am new to Clovis and I had given all my trust to this hospital but all I hear is always negative results, I’m so sad I’m so frustrated and feeling a lot of emotions due to the fact that one nurse told me that I can indeed, have my husband come in to get his blood drawn this morning and the gentleman this morning told me no Very unprofessional lack of communication, thank you

I was expecting a bad experience because my past experiences with doctors have not been wonderful. However, the staff was very helpful, the environment is cheerful, and the interaction I was seen very quickly. 5 stars.

I received awesome care here! The staff is TOP NOTCH, from the receptionist to the nurses and anesthesiologist and doctors! They could not have treated me any better! I’m so thankful for all of them! Best care I have ever received in a hospital!

So lacking in care for the sick. My mother was covid positive on the 11th. Today was her 14th day and she had been fine. She was complaining about a painful rash that developed overnight on her back. She also complained about chest pain. She made an appointment to be seen and upon arrival we let them know she had tested positive 2 weeks ago. They had her in a chair outside in the sun and wind for 20 minutes just to be told she could not be seen there. I asked if I could take her to another side to be seen or to the ER because she was feeling sick. Thier response was that we were not welcome there, not even ER. I was sadden to see my mom hurting and couldn't get her help. They said since I was with her she could not be seen until I tested negative. I told them if I were positive it coul
