Presbyterian Outpatient Gastroenterology Lab in Albuquerque on Cedar St

Dismissive, unkind, do not care about you at all. Abusive. The supervisor/manager refused to follow ADA accommodations (which the law requires) after agreement to do so multiple times before my colonoscopy despite my medically fragile state. Arrogant and uncaring people.

Thank you to the staff of this GI outpatient clinic. Special mention to the front office personnel, to the RNs who were very professional and competent and friendly and to the doctors who attended to my son.

I was pleased with the staff, nurses Debbie and Crystal were awesome and very friendly! Dr Mittal was very personable too and he made sure I did not have questions. I felt comfortable and at ease with my procedure today. 🙂

I had a routine colonoscopy scheduled here. The procedure was supposed to take 3 to 4 hours. When I arrived, the self check-in kiosk was out of order but after taking a number, the receptionist could see me soon thereafter. Everything went smoothly from here on. The personnell was friendly and courteous, made me feel at ease and gave clear instructions. The attending physician came to see me before the procedure to address any concerns I might have ahead of time. As I opted for a low dose of sedative I was able to stay awake for the whole process. Everyone involved seemed highly efficient and good at their profession. Any questions I had were thoroughly explained, and everyone seemed to care about my well-being and comfort. All in all, the whole stay amounted to only two an a half hours. I

My mother had a routine colonoscopy done here a few days ago and since Dr. Mubarak Sayyar, the Gastroenterologist, is lazy in his approach to patient care, we left feeling like a bother to him whenever we were asking questions about his findings. He was totally in a rush, uncaring, and I could tell he is not passionate about what he does—which is a total disappointment for my mother who has never undergone any type of procedure or surgery before. The nurse handed me a packet of information but did not explain a single thing to me as he stated Dr. Mubarak would. Given my mom’s sedation, she obviously she was not coherent enough to understand what was going on. Yet, he kept talking to her as if she was and like she was stupid, which upset me. As a nurse myself, this is just disgusting. Truly
