I went to Presbyterian Rust urology and saw dr. Imani Ghasem for a severe injury from an assault. He didn’t care about the MRI and said the fracture, pain, swelling, infections, loss of sensation, scar tissue and bending were all normal and i’m fine. He said “I make money doing surgery so come back when you have a REAL bend.” He also did a horrible exam and hurt me! He is a terrible person who just doesn’t care about my health. It’s no wonder the reviews are so bad! Stay away from that wacko if you value your life.

*This review is for Presbyterian Rust ER, not Urology Department. My Mother was seen a week ago for a very serious issue. They saw her in the ER and sent her home. She didn't do well at all. We are back in the hospital once again with an added issue. After waiting 3 hours to be seen, they brought my 92 year old, immunocompromised Mother into a room with another person that may have COVID. Now they have exposed not only her bute as well. On top of this, you are supposed to have privacy when being seen. We heard all of the other person's private medical history and they will be hearing my Mother's. Completely unacceptable!! There is a thing called HIPPA! They are not respecting that law.

My old Primary and Urologist retired per Covid. Called Rio Rancho Pres to make appointment with new Urologist as the problem is back. Told I needed to find a Doc, not them, to prescribe PSA test BEFORE I could be seen at Rust, close to my house, BUT, nice gal on the other side got me scheduled at main Pres in Albuq in two months where I did not need a current PSA before being seen. Thought the attending Doc is the one to order bloodwork? Dumbfounded for sure. Policy....was told, need a PSA test before appointment but we do not prescribe it from this Urology office. So Presbyterian is not consistent and the patient is left hanging.

The lack of empathy and consideration this staff has for patients is unbelievable. Sent me away after waiting 4 months for an appointment.
