I've been sitting on this review for a while, partly because I wanted to be fair, and partly because I kept hoping I wouldn't have to write it. This gym is genuinely one of a kind. The facility, the concept, the professional staff — there's nothing like it in San Diego, and I mean that sincerely. If I'm being honest, Quinn, the trainer I worked with in my last few months, and Dr Stefanie Basso, the nutritionist and trainer I worked with a bit earlier in my journey, are the reason this is four stars and not two. Both of them were consistent, sharp, and completely dialed in to what I actually needed. Working with them finally felt like what the program promises to be. Bought my membership in Nov 2025. No regrets! The trainers are experienced and care about the goals you set. Garret, Philip, and Quinn are the best trainers in La Jolla. Gym has more than enough equipment, nothing like a commercial gym. Red light Sauna, showers, cold plunge, etc.The results are resulting !!!

I was graciously greeted by Garrett and Philip, without hesitation, signed up for a membership. State of the art equipment! I spent two hours at the gym - used the extensive leg press machines, infrared sauna and steam shower.

Out of all the gyms I’ve been to, this is by far the best. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The gym is very spacious and there are so many machines so you are never waiting to workout.

This movement hospital is absolutely top-notch! I mainly go to use the gym downstairs. The equipment is always clean and well-maintained, with a diverse selection for all fitness levels. They have machines and equipment you won’t typically find at big-box gyms, which keeps workouts exciting and effective. Whether you’re into strength training, cardio, functional fitness, or powerlifting, they have something for everyone. I especially look forward to leg day because of their excellent selection of leg-focused machines and equipment. The variety allows me to mix up my routine and hit every muscle group effectively. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The atmosphere is super motivating, and I love the positive energy from both the trainers and members.
