PureHealth Transitional Care at THR Arlington

After three weeks of my mother staying at this facility, I understand the one-star reviews. When she returned home, she told us it was the worst place she has ever stayed. My mother has stage 4 cancer and is considered a highly vulnerable patient. While a few nurses and floor technicians were kind and genuinely helpful, others were shockingly unprofessional and lacked basic compassion. During her stay, my mother slipped and fell in the bathroom while under their care and had to be taken to the ER. We strongly debated allowing her to return, but were reassured by the administrator that extra care would be taken. This has been a refreshing stay! My CNAs have been wonderful and have taken good care of me. I had great therapy from Amanda and Gladys. They are so good because they consistently use the same terminology so there’s no question about what they mean and that has been so helpful! And I’ve finally made progress!!

My dad is 82 years old. He has been on and out of hospitals all year and Pure Health 3 times. The staff has always been extremely helpful, informative and very informative. My dad loved everyone, but there was one who stood out, Ms. Gladys. She kept his spirits high and made sure he was up and ready every day. This facility has been very helpful in helping my 82 year old father become mobile and somewhat self-sufficient. Thank you for everything you have done for my father and the excellent care he has received. I will always be extremely grateful.

Excellent overall experience. Kudos to all of the therapists who were firm but also positive and upbeat, which we all need, especially the patients, some who may have started in a bad mood, but were cheerful and smiling during their sessions. Shout out to Manny and his joyful group therapy sessions on Fridays which are upbeat with music playing while we all exercised and met new people. Hopefully, I never have another accident like the one that brought me here, but if I do, this is the place I will choose to come for my inpatient rehab.

My stay has been absolutely amazing and wonderful. Everyone has made stay very memorable. Here are the names I have worked with mostly: Manny, Carolyn, Jessica, Jeannette, Gladys, Katie, Amanda, Agnes, Lou Lou, Margaret, Activities Sherrina, and I am sure there are more. The food was a plus as well, enjoyed all of the selections that they had. Thanks for all the hard work. If I had to go somewhere long term, I would pick this place as #1, thanks for the memorable stay. Keep up the great work.
