Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center

while no facility can be perfect, Putnam Nursing is a very good choice if it is needed. The nursing staff is great, they really care about the patients here. They always have time to answer questions and to help out if needed. I have found most of the staff to be very friendly & supportive as well. The meals are pretty good, there are some minor exceptions here and there to the menu that raise an eyebrow, but that is personal opinion only. I have found this place to be vey clean, which was a big concern initially. Overall I am really very comfortable having my Dad cared for here. He is pleased, the staff like him and I know he is in very good & capable hands.

I knew that my mom was becoming very frail by the minute and that eventually she couldn't live by herself in the apartment she didn't want to leave and loved due to her past memories create it in there. Sadly, due to an unforeseen circumstance I had to make a drastic decision for her well-being. It was then that with hesitation I accepted her care to be here. Now, I find that my best decision to honor and help my mother was to bring her here as she has expressed verbally her extreme happiness, loves all the meals, the kindness and attention from all the staffs members (from doctor's care all the way down in title to the custodians). Because my mom has expressed her desired to meet the owner so she can rent a room and not return to her apartment complex, that gives me peace of mind and hear

My mother has been here for 5 years I’m always updated on her progress. My mother is well taken care of and the staff has become an extension of her family. She has received physical therapy occupational therapy and enjoys the recreational department. The nurses have been excellent and I can’t thank the entire team enough!

I want to thank all of you for the excellent compassionate care you all provided for me.I had such peach if mind knowing I was with you all at Putnam Nursing/rehab center. Each and every one of you are a credit your profession and should be very proud of what you do.

If you love your LO please do not send them here.the place is discusting,the staff look and act like they hate their job.the only happy staff were the activists department and the social worker. The nurses and aides are miserable. I will admit my mother is not the easiest patient but no one deserves what was done to my mother. I was called about mom hurt her hand.when I saw mom's hand I was appalled.mom was so weak she couldn't even pick up a pound weight.her hand was swollen and black and blue.the charge nurse told me her hand isn't broken and she has bad arthritis. I asked how could this happen overnight and does arthritis look black and blue. I'm couldn't give me a good answer.later on mom told me someone crushed her hand because they were mad at her.now my mom does have memory issues b
