Ramin Farboud MD PC, aka Advanced Gastroenterology and Hepatology of Greater Washington (AGH of GW)

I'm a professional engineer as well as a ship's engineer who travels internationally quite a bit. I have seen Dr. Farboud several times this past year and found him to be quite good. He was very knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed my initial ailment and recommended the proper remedy. To be clear, I believe Dr. Farboud is "top Tier" doctor based on my many experiences with the medical field; but equally important he is a very good listener and most recently has gone FAR OUT OF THE WAY to help me with my current condition. Prior to my encounter with Dr. Farboud I considered the colonoscopy procedure a necessary evil. Dread caused me to put it off longer than I should have. I know now that the procedure is necessary and perhaps lifesaving and that Dr. Farboud and his staff are the opposite of evil. Dr. Farboud is an amazing, caring and charismatic human being who took the time to get to know me, understand my fears and provided the education, comfort and trust I needed to do what I knew was good for me. Staff and physician havre been exceptionally caring and attentive. I called the office when I was very, very sick. The receptionist was genuinely kind and made sure to get me help. The nurse called soon thereafter, listened carefully and gave helpful advice. (The doctor was in the middle of a procedure with another patient at the time.). When Dr. Farboud subsequently spoke with me, he listened carefully and took appropriate and helpful action. Follow up is super.

Dr. Farboud has been wonderful. He’s been working with me for the past couple of months on my acid reflux and IBS. He did an endoscopy on me, which I was very happy with. I am extremely grateful to have him as my gastroenterologist and would recommend him to anyone who needs one in the DMV! Thank you so much Dr. Farboud.
