Riverview at the Park Nursing Center

Very good with employees and they don't ask for much once you get to know the residence in the build they are very nice

This Nursing Facility was better then I expected and has given more then I thought it would. My mother is in the dementia unit, which is not an easy place to work, let alone live. Mother seems happy or content most days and she usually always like her nurses and aides. They have always been attentive and understanding towards her and our family. Of course, every place like this does have its flaws, Riverview is a nice, clean place that is willing to and doing a good job of, caring for my mom when I can't. I heard things about this place like others before me, give it a chance. Go to a tour and judge for urself.

As a whole, the facility goes above and beyond and exceeds all expectations. As a family member of a loved one, I was extremely impressed with the level of care provided from the nurses and the aids. Any questions that I had were answered in a timely manner, and explained perfectly. The facility is always clean and well taken care of and the staff is the sweetest. Definitely would recommend to send a loved one here.

*Update* Yes, the staff could've done better and not have been so rude. However, compared to other nursing homes (like St Peters Manor), this place does a far better job and really was one or the better ones comparitively. Just know that if you want your loved ones to have the best care, you need to either have the money for a $25k/month facility, or have them live with you and use medicaid and their Social Security to pay for their medical care (nurses prescriptions, etc), and you assist with a lot of their care. Otherwise, be content with them having mediocre care at best because the PCTs and nurses at regular nursing homes don't get paid enough to give 5 star care, and the facilities will always be understaffed (no matter how much they lie to you that they are appropriately staffed). -

This is a very clean, lovely nursing home. The staff is exceptionally wonderful, helpful and always eager to assist with a smiling face. The staff makes it all about the residents. The staff and administration truly go above and beyond for their residents and make it feel like home, and it is like one big family.
