RRH Pediatrics - Irondequoit

I took my son Friday, got to the appointment in time. I waited for 3 hours.( between those waiting hours I went to the “receptionist “ and she told me “Doctors are running a little behind”. My husband got to place to help me with my baby because he was getting frustrated and tired. My husband ask the other receptionist what’s going on with my sons appointment we see a lot of kids getting here and just being call, to what the receptionist say you guys got here late (which it was a lie that the other receptionist made up once she saw that she did a mistake and never register us, she register us after I ask her what’s going on ) even tho that they confirmed that it was the receptionist mistake they say we had to reschedule and that I had to leave the denied the care to my 1 year old baby. Honestly im very disappointed with this place I should have looked at reviews first . I had my first baby recently. They forgot about him when it was a week checkup an even for his 3 days . Now I have been waiting for his one month appointment a they never even set it up lie they said . I even called . I am transferring because their customer service team sucks . If you enjoy being forgotten about an having to harrass someone just to be put on hold or told they will call but they don’t ever . This is your place !

The nurse from pediatrics who logged in our concern for our visit was really rude she seem like she had a attitude once we walked in she didn’t speak at all also the room that we was sent to the bed didn’t have any of the paper bedding on it Rgh needs better professional caring staff and a upgrade to the rooms and chairs the room was dirty and disgusting

How many Riedmans Center employees does it take to schedule you an appointment with lactation? Idk...but it feels like all of them. Finally after a week I get an appointment scheduled, I get my 10 day postpartum self and my 10 day old baby to check in, only to be told it was an "accident", that they didn't mean to schedule me...so the appointment had been canceled with NO NOTICE. I didn't get a mycare message, no voicemail, no phone call. Thank you so much for all your work supporting moms who are trying to breastfeed 😭 as if this wasn't hard enough. Only gave two stars because the actual pediatrician we have been seeing has been wonderful, they'd get 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that no one seems to know how to get me into an appointment with lactation. Came in for lab works here. Observed a behaviour of a staff who ushered an elderly man. The old man said, "please could you help me get up. I need assistance". Tye old man reached out his hand and the staff said rudely and loudly with gesture... " I don't want to touch your hands because of germs". The old man said, "atleast hold my walking stick to get me up". The staff grunted and held the stick like she was about to vomit. She should not work in the health profession if she does not have the care factor or afraid of germs. Her tone to this elderly man was sad and unwarranted. Sad to be old in this country. Love this new place. Lots of examination rooms. Check-in area is less crowded due to the new technology. Very innovative. Large waiting area. My appointment was 12.50pm. I checked-i
