The care has always been great, but it’s honestly gotten even better since Dr. Ellie Farahamand took over the practice. She (and the other dentist) always take the time to explain everything clearly, break down the procedures, and make sure you fully understand your options before moving forward. You never feel rushed or confused. The ladies in the office are so friendly and welcoming, they really make you feel at home. That kind of warmth makes such a difference, especially when you’re dealing with something stressful like dental work. I have been going to Santa Monica Dental for many years and it continues to be the most wonderful care! The office itself is beautiful and calming - it feels more like a spa than a dentist. Everyone who works here is incredibly friendly and warm. The dental care itself is the absolute best. I have TMJ and severe gum loss, but under their care my teeth and jaw pain have improved ten fold. They are incredibly gentle and kind with my teeth and only use the best products. I cannot recommend this whole office enough! If you don’t like going to the dentist you should definitely switch to Santa Monica dental office.

Dr Ellie and her team - I usually see Dr. Baha are absolutely amazing. While my dental health wasn’t bad, there was room for improvement and through their care and detailed feedback my oral health is better than it’s ever been, at 41 years old. Highly highly recommend. …and I fly in from out of state (used to live in LA) but that’s how great everyone here is. I could go on and on. Also the office staff is just as fantastic - Sonja, Lulu, Donna - I was never a fan of the dentist but the entire team here makes it so comfortable, welcoming and above all - easy and effective.

I can’t recommend Santa Monica Dental highly enough! As someone who typically experiences dental anxiety, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and at ease I felt during my visit. Dr. Sharma was exceptional - calm, patient, and took the time to clearly explain what was happening and what work needed to be done. Their thoroughness in educating me about my treatment made all the difference in easing my nerves. I was also impressed by how accommodating they were with scheduling and appreciated that they never pushed unnecessary services, which I’ve unfortunately experienced at other dental offices. The care felt genuine and patient-focused. If you’re looking for a dentist who prioritizes patient comfort and transparency, this is the place. 10/10 would recommend!
