Scripts Pharmacy at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children

Which Pharmacy, inside a children’s hospital, opens at 9 am on a weekday???? I mean, you’ve gotta to be kidding! Especially when parents, in and out of the hospital, sometimes cannot wait until 9 to get a prescription. In my case, I need medication as soon as possible, and I had to call work to say that I will be late because the only pharmacy I can pick up my medication from is inside a hospital. It’s definitely not open from the wee hours of the day. Still, the pharmacy decides that 9:00 a.m. is a good time for all parents and patients to start filling and pick up their medications. And add to that the fact that the only way you can get the medication is by parking in the hospital garage, going through security, and then walking around the hospital to get to it. Super slow with refills !! They are fast when prescription are being sent by physician only . But if the patient is the one requesting the refill it will take up to two or three days to be processed .

Nancy, Raquel, and the entire staff at Scripts inside APH are truly lifesavers! From the day our daughter was discharged from the NICU at WPH over a year ago, they have made sure we are able to get her meds when other pharmacies turned us away. They are always willing to go above and beyond!

Fair and takes care of customers. They made calls aggressively to my provider and insurance to see if they could get better rates. They explained how I could maximize the use of my benefits very clearly. I would suggest any Orlando Health employee to come here.

I had to wait for over an hour for my daughter prescription and the staff were very indifferent of us waiting there. They were nobody else waiting for their prescription but us. They could have taking care of us since we were there waiting. I think was very disrespectful.
