Where do we start? Shannon has been a godsend for our two daughters. When our middle daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia and was struggling to read in kindergarten, we were introduced to Shannon and her program. The progress that our daughter made in just the first 6 months of her therapy were amazing. She went from being behind grade level at the start of first grade to above grade level by the end of that year. When our youngest daughter started presenting the same struggles as her older sister, it was a no brainer to start her with Miss Shannon as well. Unfortunately she was caught in the covid shutdown during kindergarten and that had a negative impact on her learning. Our twins have worked with Shannon for over two years and the amount of growth we have seen in their reading skills has been absolutely life changing, and amazing to witness! We have seen the progress in their grades at school, test scores, and in their confidence when reading independently. Shannon has helped us work with the schools as we navigated IEPs, 504 plans, attendance records, and more. Shannon’s expertise in her dyslexia program has been so successful with our first and second child that when we noticed our third struggling in first grade it was a no brainer on who to contact for help. She evaluated him to narrow down exactly what he was struggling with and set up a plan that will help him succeed not only in her sessions but his classroom as well. She even makes it simple to study at home with review sheets and short videos so we’re implementing the same techniques as what she would use during her sessions.
