Dr. Parmar was my daughters primary physician for quite some time . and we were both really impressed with her… initially. During the annual physicals i would tell her some general symptoms of my daughter’s that i felt concerned about but she didnot investigate further. She just dismissed it as normal. I believed her. After my daughter turned 18, i took my daughter to another doctor who is currently her primary physician and told her the same symptoms that i told drparmar and she ordered some blood work. Turns out it was a thyroid issue. It took 2 years since diagnosis by this doctor for it to get under control with treatment. I am not impressed with the initial lack of diagnosis by dr parmar. Dr. Shafali Palmer was very rude. It was my daughter’s annual physical. She was completely rude and impolite. She disrespects parents and passes some abrupt comments that causes embarrassment. It did create tension in the room and I was not comfortable asking her any questions. She was very, very mean to me. I cannot forget that visit!! I didn’t feel that I’m meeting a pediatrician who has medical accreditation. It’s a pity that the noble medical industry has such doctors!!

Dr. Parmar has been my doctor almost my entire life and I wish she always could be. She is always very detailed when explaining how I should approach different medical situations. She is the sweetest, most caring doctor I have ever been to and I couldn’t recommend her more. I always feel comfortable talking to her about everything.

If there was a rating below one star, I would certainly grant Dr. Shefali Parmar one! I had never encountered such a greedy and unprofessional doctor before. We visited her clinic for my daughter's annual checkup and, since our visit to India is imminent, we requested her to give her immunization medication- necessary for international travel. She made us take a separate appointment for "Wellness Seminar" (absolutely unnecessary, and not covered by insurance, a fact which she knew but didn’t bother to explain it to us), without which she would not give us the prescription. This seminar teaches about dos and donts in a foreign country. It cost us $150 out of our pocket to attend this seminar. Another disgusting point to note.
