* Note: all the one-star reviews most often the only review ever written by the complainant. I cannot say enough about how thoroughly pleased I am with SSNR - both the facility and staff - and of how well the facility is run. First impressions from non-scheduled visit: no odor of any type; individuals with whom I came into contact were friendly and professional, wearing name tags clearly identifying their name and role. Residents appeared well taken care of, nobody slumped over in a wheelchair asleep in a corridor. Settled in: clean, organized rooms with like furnishings in good repair are visually appealing. I wish i could put 0 stars! This is the worst place ever. Don’t send anyone here ever please! The floors are dirty. The rooms are small. The staff does not care … half the time you can’t find anyone to ask or address an issue. Attaching a string to a call light .. like are you serious .. I could go on & on about how horrible this place is ….. very sad

I wish I could give 0 stars & that i would've read all the reviews before I agreed to place my mama here. She was sick with stage 4 cancer & I was having surgery requiring me to be on bedrest for a couple weeks so she needed somewhere to stay & have help. The social worker told me there was no other place open & it would be too much paperwork & time to transfer my mom closer to me so we reluctantly agreed to try this place. During the time my mom was in this hell she suffered tremendously. Several calls to me writhing in pain but not getting her meds appropriately, sharing adjoining bathroom with literally everyone & that place was dirty to put it nicely (i will post pictures of conditions I found my mom in when i returned to remove her.) Will not go into details, but someone I love very much is in there (hopefully getting out of there in a few weeks), and that facility is the WORST place I’ve seen in a very long time. My grandfather was in there in 2007-2008 and was treated with love, care, and respect. Another loved one was in their Summer 2021-Spring 2022 and was satisfied. This same person is in there currently and unfortunately, there have been SEVERAL issues of concern. I would never recommend having anyone I care about staying in that facility. While there are some awesome care givers there, the “other group” of “care” givers make it a nightmare. Please reconsider. Find a different facility. I wouldn’t allow my pets to stay in such a place.

From my observations the staff is very caring and professional which equates to dignified and compassionate care for the residents. The team work of the staff also makes resident care more thorough and satisfying them. The “smell” in past reviews has been eliminated and cleanliness is a high priority as is all aspects of the facility’s operation. There is kind and patient care for each resident in a “family” type environment.
