Good morning, The urgent care is much better now starting 08/1/2025 there’s going to be new opening hours starting 8AM to 7 PM and open on Saturday 9AM to 5pm , I was so glad for the new hour they will be opening they’re under new management. We need that I have no problem with them.

Wow! I've never been turned away at an urgent care clinic and told they couldn't see me because I had been there the day before and if I was worse, Well I could wait until the medicine kicked in or go to an emergency room. I was worse, much worse. The day before I didn't think I needed a strep test. Common sense given the condition of my now painful sore throat dictated that would be a good idea and I wanted to check out all my terrible symptoms. Oh, anyway there are no doctors there on Wednesday, only a receptionist/pA and anther aide. But then not too many sick people. Only ten on the sign in sheet, it was noon, all new patients. I only gave one star because the young lady at the front desk was very nice, other than that complete bad experience! I arrived at 10:00 am which is the time of opening and noticed it was closed with sickly/injured people standing outside in the cold waiting to get in. There was also one employee there waiting for a key to get in. 10:06 another employee arrives with the key and we were finally let in. After getting in my name was called at around 10:16 am. I went to the back explained my injury and asked if it was ok to get a referral for an xray and for the podiatrist. The NICE young lady from front desk went to confirm if it was ok by her peer to make sure and then told me it was OK and that the doctor will be with me in a few. This place needs to get it together. I made an 11:45 appointment online. I arrived at 11:20. Three people was before me. A lady walks in at 12:15 her appointment was scheduled for 10:30, so basically she’s 2 hours late and they call her before me. She arrived late she should’ve waited for everyone else to be called.

I absolutely love the Urgent Car of Far Rockaway! First of all, it’s staffed with beautiful black queens, including the doctor! Secondly, they are very attentive and professional, whilst upholding genuine care that you feel immediately. The waiting room was clean, and well ventilated. In the examination room, the nurse made sure to face me and hear out my concerns about my accident, before going to the computer (back facing me) to enter my information. That to me felt personable, and made me want to engage in conversation about my pain, instead of attempt to list off symptoms by myself. The doctor was very knowledgeable, understanding, and patient as she spoke with me to better understand my needs. She didn’t waste time reviewing my notes on the computer when she entered, and actually sat
