Skagit Regional Health - Mount Vernon Surgery Center Gastroenterology

After a LIFETIME of feeling medically gaslit and overlooked, I just met with Doc April(and nurse assistant Monique! So sweet!) and holy wow I finally think I will get some answers. I felt so heard and respected. Coming to this clinic was the right choice.

Gastroenterologist office doesn't answer the phone. I made an appointment for a consultation prior to a colonoscopy. After the consultation they said they would contact me to make an appointment. They haven't contacted me in three weeks. I've called numerous times and get no answer, and no voicemail. I called a different number and left a message that I wanted to schedule my colonoscopy. Haven received a call back. Absolutely terrible service for a healthcare provider. Useless.

I went to the podiatry on the third floor and they were really kind and helpful. I recommend choosing Skagit regional health

Whoever is answering the phones at Skagit Regional Health Gastroenterology could use serious training in basic customer service. Our first conversation started with the staff member asking if I had a referral. When I asked if I needed one, she responded, “That’s not what I asked you,” immediately setting a hostile tone. She then repeatedly talked over me, cut me off mid-sentence, and responded in a condescending manner. Although I became frustrated and told her she needed to be nice because I am the customer, her response was to hang up on me. That kind of behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable in any business, but especially in a medical setting where patients are often already anxious or frustrated when calling in. I was simply trying to schedule an appointment in the Smokey Point

I was disappointed that Whidbey Health had not sent the tests results to you for my appointment. We traveled from the middle of Whidbey Island to Mount Vernon to still not know what is going on with my liver. My sympathies to the doctor It wasted her time as well.Otherwise I was treated very well. This post is for my husband Steven who has the issue
