Couldn’t recommend them more. Just finished my third visit. They’re incredibly caring, communicative and consent forward. They have an in house dental plan if you don’t have insurance and are passionate about making sure there is financial transparency and literacy. They explained any issues I had with visual aids to make sure I understood my problem areas. They moisturized my lips during long procedures and my first practitioner even made sure I had jaw breaks during the appointment. Lovely office and lovely people who are very professional and talented at what they do.

My husband has been going to Dr. Edwin Chen for fillings and crowns, and later decided to have a cosmetic gum surgery. I went with him and decided to get a consultation myself, since I’d been having pain from a crown I got four months ago. Dr. Chen was super patient—he did a CT scan and carefully tested several teeth. He said the root canal and crown looked fine, and the pain was probably from a bite issue. I had already gone back to my previous dentist twice for bite adjustments, but the pain never fully went away. Dr. Chen made a few small, precise adjustments, and the pain was completely gone that same day. It’s been four days now and I haven’t felt any pain at all. It’s honestly amazing. Worst service ever. The dentist pressured me into unnecessary procedures. They mislead patients with billing and then, after more than a year, send “balance due” notices claiming the insurance did not cover the procedures. They do this so patients won’t hesitate to agree to expensive treatments, stating that the insurance “confirmed coverage.” Then, a year later, they send a bill and threaten to send the account to collections. I am filing a complaint with my insurance and will also contact the OAG and DCWP to investigate this practice. I strongly recommend that anyone who receives delayed or unexpected bills file a complaint as well.

Back in 2023, I was convinced to get a deep cleaning. Before agreeing, I specifically asked for my out-of-pocket cost after insurance and was told it would be a few hundred dollars (which was already expensive). Nearly two years later, I was shocked to receive another bill for $321.60 because my insurance had supposedly been maxed out. I’ve called the office multiple times, but all I’ve heard is, “The manager isn’t in today, we’ll call you back.” Still waiting for a resolution. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience.

I have been going to Dr Lim for over 15 yrs now. Both of the offices are impeccably clean, the staff is extremely responsive and accommodating and the dental work is absolutely top notch. I have never waited more than 2 minutes for an appt which is beyond helpful as I go to them during my office hours. All of the doctors and hygienists are extremely careful, very talented, and warm and comforting. Their state of the art equipment is unmatched. They make you feel very comfortable and are very careful with their procedures - no pain at all! Cannot recommend them highly enough!
