Sommer Dental Care

Our family has been using Sommer Dental Care for over 20 years. Dr. Sommer is the only dentist I have found where I don’t have mini panic attacks before my appointments due to some bad childhood experiences. The staff are friendly and kind and I just can’t say enough about the level of care they have shown our entire family over the years. We always look forward to our cleanings with Kelly and the fun conversations that go along with our visits. The office really does feel like we are visiting good friends when we walk through the front door and the level of care has been excellent.

Great experience! Able to book appointments in a reasonable timeframe... dont have to wait months to get in, easy to navigate paperwork, amazing staff, respectful of your time, if your appointment is for 9 youre seen at 9... not having to wait. Great with kids, especially hygienist Kelly- who super patient with my daughter freaking out anytime anything even approaching a mint flavor came near her mouth. It was easy to receive referral for my other daughters wisdom teeth. Dr. Sommers has a great practice and I recommend without hesitation.

I’ve gotten a few cleanings here in the past and had no issues but last week when I went in, Kelly acted like my opinion didn’t matter and was rude and pushy. I told her that I had slight tooth sensitivity on one tooth but I didn’t want x-rays because I couldn’t afford them that day and didn’t think I needed them (which I did not) She insisted that if I didn’t get them that she wasn’t going to clean my teeth and that I would need to talk to the dentist…After being forced into X-rays I didn’t need and getting my cleaning she informed me that the reason for my sensitivity was that I had left over concrete from a permanent retainer which she would’ve been able to see if she had just done what I had asked for and not pushed me around and acted like I was a child!! Dr. Sommer is hands down the best dentist I've ever had and the staff and so kind, professional, and welcoming. I've recommended them to my own friends and family and will continue to recommend them.
