Southcoast Health Urgent Care

Walked in on Veteran's Day, signed up on the computer and was brought right into registration. Amy and Cheryl were awesome! Talked to a couple people in the waiting area and then was brought into the room. 5-10 minutes before I was seen by the doctor who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. From the front desk to the MA Sue and Doctor Michael and Cassie the Xray technician, I would give this place more stars if I could!

Do not bother “scheduling a time” online. It is truly irrelevant. Walk ins are first. Follow whatever the online wait time is when deciding to go to this urgent care. I didn’t make it past registration & the waiting room. I showed up 10 min early for my “online scheduled time” and after 65 min, I had to get back to work so I left. I couldn’t risk 1-2 hours in the back. Location is good & waiting area seemed nice, but the scheduling feature & not being able to reach a human while calling was a bad first impression.

Had no issues with it before but lately they've been unreliable. Was on hold for 20 minutes before being hung up on and needing to restart my spot for another half hour.... Clearly not very urgent these days. It's a shame. I was trying to get my father's blister looked at before his surgery. Luckily it wasn't infected but if it was we'd end up needing to go to Tobey, which has become equally if not more problematic these past few years. South coast is becoming full of lazy people who don't care, use AI to pass classes, and are only there for the money. The only reason I'm not giving it a 1 star is because a few years ago it was a really good spot if you needed something checked out.

I was very very, not too happy with them so I had an appointment at 2 o’clock and they acted like they didn’t know anything about it. They looked at me and they said what your date of birth. I told them and I obviously don’t have health insurance because I just moved here and I don’t have health insurance and Massachusetts right now and I had a reaction to something. Obviously they could tell that my eyes were puffy And I was trying to get seen so that’s why I made the appointment to know what was going on and they told me that it would be $205 and I said well I don’t have $205 to put down and they looked at me and told me that there was nothing that they could do so I said that’s weird because I’ve been to urgent care before and they can still see you even without payment plan or healthca

My daughter cut the top of her foot open with a piece of glass and needed stitches. She is 5 1/2 years old and I’m beyond happy with our experience at the Wareham urgent care center. I can’t remember the name of the nurse or doctor but they were absolutely amazing they made my daughter feel so comfortable. First off the nurse knew the right things to say to my daughter to get her mind off of the HUGE cut on her foot. She was absolutely amazing and when we left my daughter said she wanted her to come over to our house for dinner 🤣 and to the dr he kept joking with my daughter making her laugh and smile in the best way. He made the whole process easier and finished his job in a quick and efficient manner. I’m so pleased with my experience 10/10 will recommend this place again
