BEWARE I would not recommend visiting the UAB Sparks Center to see Dr Martin. I was referred to the office by another physician. Billing verified my insurance but fail to provide an estimated cost of the service. Nor did they give an indication that they bill as an outpatient for an in-office visit. This resulted in them billing my insurance 8000.00 and my portion being $2000. Now you may have expected me to have some type of procedure that that amount. ng. "No". They held up pictures and I answered questions. When my appointment was confirmed by their office, I would have expected a conversation regarding the estimated cost of this visit. Altleast to provide me a real expectation of what this visit would cost. This would have provided me the opportunity to evaluate my choices. Maybe
