SSOR (Specialists in Sports and Orthopedic Rehabilitation) - Overland Park

I recently had a total ankle replacement done. Prior to surgery I went to SSOR for pre-rehab to prepare for the best possible outcome. I worked with Ryan who understood my goal and worked hard to prepare me for my procedure. After the surgery I was in a cast for 6 weeks (standard for this surgery) after removal the typical time to be in a walking boot is 6 more weeks. However… because Ryan at SSOR did such a great job preparing me that was cut down to 4 weeks! I returned to SSOR after 1 week in the boot and With the knowledge I learned from my pre surgery PT I was able to get out of the boot in 2 weeks!! It’s been 8 weeks since surgery and I’m doing GREAT thanks to the folks at SSOR particularly Ryan who has guided me back to independent mobility 4 weeks ahead of the typical recovery time

I highly recommend SSOR for your PT needs. I received excellent treatment & exercises from DPT Josh Morgan to help me recover from injuries. All of the staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere is very welcoming and conducive to reaching your therapy goals.

I had surgery with this company on my shoulder about a year ago, went to physical therapy and had to set another appointment because things were still hurting really bad in my shoulder. Explain to him what was going on the Doctor Who did my surgery and he told me that it should just go away a year later and it’s still there. I have full Coverage with my insurance company so a year after the surgery, I tried to set another appointment. They are telling me that I owe money that I should not owe and that they can’t see me until I pay $400 in full Which I was told that the procedure would be covered in full by my insurance company and also buy them who performed it now I’m still dealing with major pain in my shoulder and they will not see me so I have to go to a different orthopedic who’s not

Shoulder replacement is the longest healing procedure of all replacements. Dr Anna Miller is experienced in shoulder replacement therapy. I have made advancement with her help for full recovery. I see all therapist working hard with their patients during my workout. This is the place to recover.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. PT geniuses at work. Very knowledgeable and the best outpatient PTs out there. I was actually referred to them from another PT I work with in a different type of therapy setting. Ryan is trained in Muscle Activation Treatment (MAT) and it works wonders. I went in with shoulder pain and some significant upper back imbalances, including frequent rib pain issues, and I would leave our PT treatment sessions without any pain. I have been doing the exercises he educated me on and I am almost back to my normal again, forgetting I was even having any issues most days, until I remember to do my exercises for maintenance.
