St Luke's Baptist Hospital Delivery Dock

Took 3 nurses to administer an IV, took my blood and the biles were still sitting on the bedside locker after the birth, when I told the later nurse I think my water broke she said the pitocin wouldn’t work that fast and that I was over reacting, contractions started no sign of anyone but the nurse when I felt the urge to push she told me not to cause the doctor wasn’t there, two epidurals and no relief… baby was crowning still no doctor so she told me to have a nap, gave birth once the doctor arrived they cut the cord straight away and even though I requested it to be delayed the placenta they discarded it even though I filled out THEIR paperwork to keep it…. Upon arrival to my room there were 5-6 health professionals attacking me for not allowing the k shot and other medical procedures

My daughter was induced on Saturday, August 5,2023. She asked for an epidural and the process was so horrible. The anesthesiologist was very unprofessional. He clearly did not want to be there. He had to poke my daughter twice. He seemed to not care that he was hurting her. I’ve had an epidural myself and know for a fact that she should not have been hurting the way she was. He struck(im guessing)a nerve and made her leg twitch. Which followed with a pain in her neck. She is now suffering with severe neck and back pain. Yes we knew the risks. But I believe if he had done his job the right way, and listened to his patient, things would have been different. The nurses were also uncomfortable with him. Amazing staff, very attentive! Induction was smooth as well as postpartum recovery. 10/10 would deliver here again.

Wouldn't deliver another baby here. Lots of hidden fees and their third party billing department is full of people who don't know what's going on. Service was fine.

Very nice staff very nice, polite, and professional...I may have left ama for personal reasons but everyone I came into contact with from security, janitorial, and the actual medical staff was super nice and cool to me and I am a hand full!!! best almost 24 hour hospital stay i have ever had!!!
