St. Luke's Care Now - Smithfield (Walk-In Care) and Occupational Medicine

I took my boyfriend to St. Luke's Hospital for a colonoscopy and had a really great experience. Everyone was so kind and respectful from the moment we walked in. The nurses were patient and made him feel comfortable, and the doctors were professional and reassuring. It can be a nerve-wracking procedure, but they made the whole process smooth and easy. We’re really grateful for the care he received. Thank you to the whole team!

I was disappointed because usually St Luke's has very good customer service however I felt like the person I saw was guessing at what was wrong with me and did offer me any real suggestions. I was having severe chronic itching and and was incredibly uncomfortable. I was told if it doesn't calm down to go to ER which is to be expected but when I asked who I should follow up with they were unable to answer me

Fake doctor’s these days are weird, Ramon. Torres to be specific. My husband goes in with a big pimple in his eye which he needs antibiotics for. We drive all the way from PA to NYC for work and the doctor refused to give him ONE day off. Mind you he looks at his eye and says “oh that’s bad”. The money does not come from your pocket. Why do doctors care if employees need time off for an actual medical issue. I will never step foot in this place because it’s always a problem to give an MTA note. Ridiculous. You’re not getting paid from my insurance if you can’t give me a doctors note. Simple. This is why we normally go into Jersey. These doctors around here aren’t even good but want to deny you time to heal, don’t want to fill out any paperwork for some reason like being home for a problem

I had a great experience at this urgent care. The staff was kind, efficient, and reassuring during a stressful moment. I was seen quickly, treated with care, and everything was explained clearly. I left feeling genuinely well taken care of—highly recommend.

After waiting for 2 1/2 hours from the Now Office, we walked out without any physical form filled out for my daughter to participate in a Special Olympics. Nobody told me that the office does not do physicals for kids with disabilities. The doctor in turn filled my form with comments such as “cannot evaluate” And denied the physical evaluation and her participation in the sports saying that only her primary care physician could do that. I don’t know if physicians, in general, are trained to modify their Examinations for people with disabilities to participate in events adapted to them. It was a waste of time and money.
