State College Eye Care

Clair….very rude and nasty! We will NOT be returning! Make people wait 35 minutes past their appointment time, and then say that it was my fault because I had to fill out forms for my children who have previously been there before. My daughter had to use the bathroom and apparently while we went, my son who also had an appt got treated poorly and the main eye dr threw her hands in the air and took the next person and could not wait one minute for us to return. Then Clair got extremely cocky and refused to tell me how much longer it would be, we walked out and then she came outside when we were getting ready to leave the appointment we did not bother attending since we were behind and it was apparently my fault again according to Claire and made a scene in the parking lot stomping her feet

There must be a reason why this eyecare associates has such a good rating. That’s why I came to visit and had my contact lenses fitting exam over there. Surprisingly the service was so amazing and efficient as well: it took me about only eight minutes to get the contact lens evaluation done. And it took 20 minutes for the contact lenses purchased. I can even do the purchasing much faster next time. My demand is complicated so I need two different prescriptions: one is stronger and another is intermediate for flight lesson and for in-home use. As a Penn State graduate student, our insurance cover most of the fee and I purchased three boxes of contact lenses which is approximately 3 months use. 日抛$79$36$153 for daily exposed, 月抛$60 for 6 months use.

Ms. Young is a wonderful provider who is very patient focused, compassionate, and attentive. She has always made me feel very welcome and very comfortable. Her staff is always there to great you with a smile. They really work well with you to find glasses or contacts that best suit your needs, all within your budget. I highly recommend State College Eye Care for all of your vision needs.

This office, Dr. and staff are so amazing. Everyone is very kind and pleasant. The Dr. is very skilled, and also very personable and makes the appointment so pleasant. When I found out at least 2 months after my appointment that I did have vision benefits through my health insurance, a staff member took the time to look into it until she got the code and member price for me! That is above and beyond, and so appreciated! Just an amazing team. 😊

Good in store experience. Dr Young is nice and does a good job. The process and timeline to receive glasses is ridiculous. We were told 2-3 weeks on June 6. Most recent call suggests a timeline of 6 weeks or more. Ridiculous! Get your prescription here. Get your glasses elsewhere.
