StatMD Urgent Care / LI Medical Group (Primary & Multi-Specialty Care)

The medical care is efficient, and the facility is clean and spacious. However, I’ve had negative experiences with the billing and insurance department. My blood work and specimens were sent to laboratories that don’t accept my insurance, resulting in avoidable out-of-pocket costs. I initially gave them the benefit of the doubt because I was satisfied with the medical care, but the issue occurred again when my daughter was treated for a sinus infection. I later received a bill stating services were out of network, even though they actually weren’t, which led to multiple calls with the insurance company. If you want to avoid surprise bills, consider going to a different urgent care.

I would not recommend this place - the only goal they have in mind is to make $$$, and patient care take a back seat. I need an urgent follow-up to get the right medication, but because they rotate the doctor from day to day, they told me i have to wait until next week to see the same doctor. the other option they give me is, for me to take time off work and see another doctor for the same issue: complete spupidity!! This place don't value patient time or their health - I would above at all cost. The owner who is managing this place need to be fired and the place need to be shut down for putting patient at risk: definitely lawsuit in the making - if there is a class action suit - i'm joining!!! Soon this place will be bankrupt for putting patient at risk

As soon I walked in the waiting area I was greeted with a smile. The receptionist politely asked what are you here for and she quickly took my information and waited patiently to see the doctor . Thank you for making my experience well.

I had an excellent experience. The doctor & nurse were wonderful. They were very friendly & helpful. StatMD is my favorite Urgent Care.

I had a remarkable experience coming here. I visited specifically for bloodwork, which was a crucial part of my preparation for upcoming surgery. The process was very smooth and efficient, and I was delighted to receive my test results shortly after. I highly recommend coming here; the staff was both friendly and informative.
