Stop & Shop Pharmacy

Stop & Shop pharmacy, unlike CVS and Walgreens, is always open when it’s supposed to be open and the excellent staff, despite being constantly busy, is always happy to assist their customers and are both knowledgeable and customer oriented. I feel like I’m in good hands on their watch. I know they routinely check for drug interactions whenever I have a new prescription filled, and they never mind confirming it for me if I have any questions. I’m chronically ill and Stop & Shop pharmacy makes my life easier. I know I can always count on them and for that I’m extremely grateful.

Looks like they have new management. Went there 3 times to get my prescription because the line was so long. The third time I sucked it up and waited. I got a text saying it was ready. I had 3 different things called in by my doctor today. When I got to the counter they only had one ready and said they could do the other two if I waited. Very poor customer service. The line was half way up the aisle. I’ve been going here for 20 years and am always in and out. Everyone in line was talking about how crazy the wait was.

I’ve never had any issues getting my medication. The personality of the staff is lacking, however I wouldn’t want their job dealing with miserable customers. No problems.

Summary: This pharmacy regularly mishandles my prescriptions. The pharmacists are dismissive and can't seem to get things right. Here's my latest story: It took 3 tries to get my last prescription filled. I went to pick up 3 months worth of my prescription and they wouldn't give it to me. They said that my doctor only prescribed one month. I went home and called my doctor. They confirmed that they sent my prescription for 3 months and offered to call them. I then called my insurance company to make sure everything was in order. A week later I went back to the pharmacy and they refused to give me my prescription again.
