Dr. Thaer Obaid is amazing! I praise him for managing my complex case of diverticulitis with severe fistula, through meticulous, minimally invasive, procedure. Since the first meeting I felt very comfortable with Dr. Obaid and everything he told me was reality. Meeting was not very long but every word I told Dr. Obaid is written in my meeting description on MyChart account. Amazing! Dr. Obaid during the meeting promised his office will follow up with me regarding surgery. 30 minutes later his office’s personnel called me with date of the surgery which really pleasantly shocked me. Dr. Obaid adjusted all his plans and schedules with his friends doctors in order to help me immediately. This was unexpected and very important. I personally would not recommend Dr. Obaid. My husband was recommended to him by his general physician to remove a pilonodal cyst back in April. My husband explained to him what he did for work and that he had a very physically demanding job. Dr. Obaid told my husband he would be fine to go back to work Monday (only 3 days after surgery). My husband ended up taking the week off work without pay because he didn’t feel like he was feeling good enough to go back. My husband spent 6 months in terrible pain with an open wound that was not healing properly. He went back to Dr. Obaid countless times due to his concern for the wound and he was dismissed and told that he wasn’t able to help him. Finally after months and months of agony my husband researched and found another doctor who informed him

Dr Obaid saved my mom’s life. He is extremely knowledgeable, he cares and human. He treated my mom with compassion. I hope I never have to call on him for myself but if I’m ever in need, I will def request his services. In addition, he also provides services to a friend, of whom also spoke highly of him. I had a very good experience with Dr. Obaid. In my experience he had a good beside manner and was fairly conservative with treatment. It took a while for me to get better overall, but in the end, the procedure I had with him was very successful and the recovery wasn't bad at all. I can definitely recommend him.

I am so thankful that Dr Obaid did my colorectal surgery. After 8 chemo treatments over 16 weeks I had the surgery. Dr Obaid explained what the surgery would be like. When I came out of surgery I had very little pain and had a temporary lilestomy bag. He and his staff were with me every step of the way. Always there for any questions I had. They handle all my disability paperwork very fast. After 13 weeks on the bag I had my reversal surgery. Everything went great and again He and his staff could t have been more professional with anything I needed. Had my post-op visit and everything went great.
