Dr. Rankin is amazing but the office staff are terrible. They do not return messages and often it's impossible to even get through on the phone to leave a message at all. It's really sad that the front office is so bad.
I’ve had a generally positive experience with Summit Orthopedics thanks to the excellent care provided by Dr. Kitay and Dr. Rankin — both are knowledgeable, attentive, and truly committed to patient care. However, my experience with the practice manager, Jacky, has been extremely disappointing. She has been consistently unprofessional, often rude, and fails to return phone calls. On one occasion, I overheard her refer to me using an inappropriate and offensive term after she thought she had ended the call — something that is completely unacceptable in any professional setting. The practice itself has potential, but if you’re required to deal with management, especially Jacky, be prepared for a frustrating experience. It’s unfortunate that such great doctors are being overshadowed by poor
This my first experience with physical therapy and it couldn't have gone better. I was assigned to Angella and she was top-notch from the get go. She was focused on my elbow issue and ran me through a number of tests/stretches during my 3 visits. She was very efficient and got me in/out as scheduled...not sure how often that happens at medical office...and thorough in my therapy (only 3 visits). I would definitely recommend her and from what I could tell her colleagues/other patients appeared to have a good rapport in the therapy room. Front desk associate and billing also was easy. Only recommendation is, because they're a co-located facility, they should have better signage at the check-in on to steer you towards the medical side or over to the therapy side. It was clear that when pati
Both Dr Kitay and therapist Casey have been wonderful to work with. I drove an hour and a half each way to see them and it was worth it! They are encouraging, caring, and flexible. They both truly listen, and are both true healers.
Brian is a terrific physical therapist. He helped me work through a bad frozen shoulder that caused me intense pain for many months, and helped significantly increase my range of motion and completely resolve the pain. He has since helped me with several other acute issues and I always feel generally better after a session with him. Brian is also highly knowledgeable and explains things thoroughly. Can’t recommend him enough!
