The Grand Pavilion For Rehabilitation And Nursing At Rockville Centre

My Mom is 80 and she just completed 21 days at Grand Pavillion. They did a wonderful job ensuring that she participated in recreation that she said she really enjoyed. The physical and occupational therapy is top notch and during my visits I noticed that the PT's ensured that nearly all of the clients went to therapy. PT Christine helped my Mom get back to using her walker after her hospital stay. Reuben, the Concierge, was always available to address any concerns. During the snow storm the staff was understandably scarce, but Dr Gurlich, CNA Bibi, the RN and ofcourse the wonderful floor nurses who were present went above and beyond to ensure the clients were comfortable and safe. Everyone here absolutely fantastic. The therapists are so patient and help me understand the exercises I'm doing. Shout-out to Mikel and Jessica. I relearned how to walk again! The concierge always helps me with all my requests. I am on the first floor and the aids and nurses are quick to answer when I ring. The food is very good here as well. I recommend the Grand Pavilion to anyone who needs therapy!

I came into The Grand Pavillion in October, and have made great improvement thanks to the whole staff, from day one Ruben was a great help, very friendly ans helpful. The CNAs are all so awesome Pria made sure I was very well taken care of. The nursing staff is also great the Nurse practitioners check on me regularly to make sure I am feeling well and when I'm not they make sure they prescribe meds accordingly. The entertainment staff always make sure they come get me so I can feel included. My PT and OT (Sam, Jess and Iris) have made my recovery so much faster and are doing their best to help me regain my ability to walk independently. I am greatful to all the staff members who had a part in my recovery.

Very poor behavior on behalf of the staff, which you can't not find when you need them. People who are residents there need their dignity and staff is supposed to help with that but they are rapidly failing at that. Most of the time they are hiding or pointing fingers at each other. As far as cleanliness go I was threatened to post pictures here for violating HIPA so I had to remove them but heck, I can poat the review so I can help you, others out to make decision if this is the right place for your beloved or not. I witnessed feces on the floor and the pillow case put over the bumpers that are supposed to protect the resident from hurting herself falling of the bed, absolutely unsanitary. When I addressed it nurse told me there are no feces theren meanwhile I had photo taken already and

My Mom has been at the Pavilion for two years. Shes considers it her home away from home. The aides, nurses, doctors, recreation staff, administrative staff ALL go above and beyond! The rooms are kept immaculate, The aides are like angels-always kind, compassionate and respectful. They even have concierges(!) -Rueben & Eiton who are always available with a smile. There are really too many others to mention-truly an exceptional staff! Thank you to all of you for taking such wonderful care of my Mom!
