The Oaks Nursing Home

The Oaks was a wonderful place for my mother in law to recuperate from her surgery. The staff is AMAZING! Every single person we came in contact with was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, attentive to my mother in law’s needs and had a great attitude, from the administrator, nurses, physical therapists to the wonderful staff that helped her around and brought her her meals. So many smiling faces every time you walk down the hall. I would highly recommend The Oaks Nursing Home.

My mother spent the last 2 years at the Oaks Nursing Home. I appreciate all the care she received. The business staff handled her financial accounts from long term health insurance to medical bills following through with each item. They filed and refiled when necessary each statement so I never had to worry about her finances. The valuable information they provide is from decades of the same family running this nursing home . They are extremely invested! The nursing team worked with her rehab 2 years ago when mother was not easy to deal with and she had a full recovery from her hip and femur surgery. I used to evaluate NHs, so I always look at them with a critical eye. Public and common areas are clean. Hallways are very wide, and have secure support rails on both sides. Well lit and decorated. The rooms I could see where personalized, attractive, and clean. Patients that I saw were clean, and comfortably clothed. All clothing was patient appropriate in size and fit. Temperature was comfortable. Staff appeared adequate in number, were pleasant, and caring. Morale appeared good.

Excellent staff and facility. A very caring environment for your loved one. I highly recommend The Oaks.
