Tooth Town Dentistry for Kids

Toothtown Glendale was easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a pediatric dental office. If I could rate them no stars I would. My child was nervous about a procedure — which is completely normal for a kid — but instead of actually doing their job and helping a child calm down, they immediately labeled my child “uncooperative” and “anxious”. They brought my child back out to the lobby and basically gave up. Their solution? Push sedation. At no point did they seriously try to work with my child or allow me, the parent, to help calm them down. Any time I tried to suggest alternatives or talk through ways to help my child feel more comfortable, I was met with excuses and a dismissive attitude. It felt like the staff had zero patience for kids who are even slightly anxious.

I truly believe this dentist doesn’t want to work with kids. My 7yr son was anxious about the gas and whole procedure and everything thing I recommended to help ease him was shut down. I couldn’t stand in the hallway or call my second phone and have him take it with him . After speaking with him when she brought him out he decided to try again to avoid sedation. She brought him back out immediately and recommended sedation when all he said was he has to use the bathroom. She was dismissive at the first appointment I should’ve taken that as a sign then.

If I could give this place a zero star rating I truly would I believe that the dentist don’t care to try to work with the kids even if they’re scared of the procedure that is about to be done. They just come back out and say he’s too anxious and that they have to try again at a later date like you work with children. It might take some time but do your job. This place is truly the worst dentist and I would not recommend taking your child there. They are incompetent and don’t do their job. That is how I legit feel worst dental office ever worst dentist ever do not go avoid at all costs. They are useless.

My son was deemed “ Uncooperative” because he was startled, as any child would be when the xray machine started moving (first time visit), however was successful in completing xray. I genuinely believe the dentist does not want to work with autistic children. My son did not have a tantrum, nor cry…we left feeling actually proud of how well it went! Only to find out that the dentist would no longer like to see him. I do not recommend this office to children on the autism spectrum.

Front desk staff on Saturday 9/27 was extremely rude! Returned a call back was not friendly or helpful, hung up on me and refused to pick up the phone or allow me to leave a message because I questioned the integrity of this office! A neurodivergent child deserves consistency in care, and in doctors. To text me last minute that my child will be seeing a different doctor is insane. The reason being that their doctor is going to be doing a sedation procedure. Our appointment had been set months in advance, and it’s extremely frustrating that my son’s care and needs were pushed aside for a higher billable procedure! DO BETTER. START BY GETTING BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE!
