Tops Grooming

Terrible service. Do not recommend. Skip the hassle find somewhere else. Staff was rude to my wife who brought in our reactive dog one week after he was skunked. We get it, he’s a handful, and stunk to high hell. Turn work you can’t handle away instead of chastising the client and dog through a half hearted grooming job. Took our dog to the vet after the skunk, before TOPs, he was fine. We were just looking for expert advice and grooming. Did not find that here. We live in Grayslake and will never recommend any TOPs service to anyone new. TOPs representatives stated that their regulars are their priority. Sounds good to me if you are already a regular. If you live here too you have seen my dog and us.

I needed emergency grooming because my dog stuck his face in a burr bush and wouldn’t let me pick them out. I called and they were able to get him in right away! They took great care and were able to get them all out without shaving his face.

Antonio always does a fantastic job with our Australian Shepherd mix. We have been to other places that doesn’t listen well to what we want, and in one case locally they trimmed his claws until they bled from two paws! Tops is great.

I could seriously go on for HOURS about how wonderful Tops Grooming is! They're staff is wonderful, and I swear my dog is in HEAVEN when she visits. They take care in trimming her nails, they play with her and make sure SHE feels comfortable, and the end result is top notch! Every single groomer is WONDERFUL. We've been going to Tops for years, probably 20 years or more (several dogs) and they are consistently wonderful. Thank you!! <3

We love TOPPS grooming. We have been taking our dog there for years. They do a great job and will even tell you if they think something is medically wrong with your pet.
