Dr Santanu Samanta is an exceptional Dr. I wish all drs had his bedside manner. He is compassionate, caring, extremely thoughtful & thorough, patient & attentive. After 28 rounds of radiation it was decided I needed brachytherapy which is a rather intense round of radiation. Due to my particular circumstances I was going to be hospitalized in order to perform these 5 intense treatments. Surgery is performed to implant the rods scans are taken and it is discovered that I will not be able to have this treatment. When he came to me he showed me the dangers and why we could not continue that we would go a different route. But what got me is while he is showing and explaining he is holding my hand while I cry and I could see the hurt in his eyes. The pain he was feeling for me. The almost tears
