I am writing to share my recent experience with Dr. Ashley Canizaro, OB/GYN regarding routine physical exams and preventive health care. During my most recent appointment, Dr. Ashley Canizaro explained that it is not necessary for me to schedule routine office visits or physical exams every two years. She stated that I should contact her office only if I had a specific concern or have questions. While Dr. Canizaro was polite and professional in her manner, the conversation left me feeling that my ongoing health care was no longer a priority and that continued preventive care was unnecessary unless a problem arises. I was sent to see Dr. Mol with endocrinology a year ago. My initial visit wasn't great because I felt invalidated and stereoyped as a stressed out female. Instead of just being like "we're going to figure this out", I was told "there's probably nothing wrong" even though my blood tests said otherwise. And then I come today for my appointment to find out that she no longer accepts my insurance after I've arrived for my appointment. I was not notified or called or anything. How is that acceptable?

If I could give a negative zero star I would. This woman Dr Gong is horrific. I went in, for what I thought was a routine prenatal visit, and this was my first time ever meeting her. She came in the room and didn't even talk to me about my baby/pregnancy, I'm 23 weeks pregnant. All she wanted to do was a cervical biopsy. I told her I do not want a biopsy until after pregnancy. So then she said she will just look at my cervix through a microscope and do a swab. I agreed to that. We go into the procedure room and she did those 2 things that I did agree to. Then she pulled out the biopsy tool, in which I couldn't tell what it was at the time due to it being covered in the sanitary wrapper, she unwrapped it where I could not see it, I asked her twice what it was, she ignored me then deliberate

Had an appointment there on 2/28/24. I have a condition where it hard for me to walk. Started out where there wasn’t any wheelchair for my size. So I had to walk to the elevator to get to the second floor of my appointment. I made it there did paperwork just to be put in an examination room to be told me can’t do your exam. Without this Doctor coming in to see me at first to tell me what’s her plan. She decided to listen to one of her nurses and told her how large I was. She made me fill so not important. She decide to set me an appointment somewhere else without discussing her plans with me first. Which I think was wrong. She decided this change before coming in to see me and see what’s best for me. The service at for Obgyn is poor I recently had a baby and the doctor did not deliver. This is my first baby so I am not sure if that is customary but she did not come by or anything she was my nurse basically along the way we barely touched. The staff is not very pleasant they are rude. The first visit I made the bathroom was filthy I felt very uncomfortable with the smell and the fact that I had use a dirty restroom
