To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter to formally express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the care my mother received at your rehabilitation facility. Based on our experience, I give this facility a rating of 0 out of 5 stars. From the moment my mother arrived, the level of care was unacceptable. Her bed was not functioning properly and had no safety rails, creating a serious fall risk. Her personal belongings repeatedly went missing, and staff showed little concern or accountability. My mother, who is vision impaired, was unable to sit up, eat properly, or take her prescribed medication for several days. Staff failed to provide a safe or effective alternative method for administering her medication despite suggestions being made. As a direct result of this neg

My time is VERY limited due to daily life responsibilities, and for me to take a fraction of it to leave a review about something or someone, it’s usually because of horrible or awesome reason(s). In this case, it’s the later of the two regarding the University Center (“UC”) nursing home. I’ll try to keep this brief but detailed. The entire facility is well-maintained and clean overall; is safe, accessible, roomy & comfortable enough for both residents and visitors. I like that UC is not too big & overcrowded, it feels cozy like being home as you get to know the staff, other residents and even their family members better. We have not encountered & interacted with all of UC’s staff persons, but those we did were approachable, professional, knowledgeable, caring, kind and then some. To ha

University Center is such a wonderful facility. It’s a small, tight-knit community where everyone truly knows each resident by name and goes above and beyond to make sure every need is met. The leadership team — from the Administrator to the Director of Nursing — sets a great example, creating a caring and supportive environment for both staff and residents. The focus on quality care and rehab is outstanding. You can see the dedication in how they help patients get stronger, recover faster, and safely return home. It’s truly a special place that feels personal, welcoming, and committed to every individual’s success.

This facility did such a phenomenal job taking care of my aunt. Every need was met and staff was extremely caring. Everyone starting with nursing to therapist work well together and showed professionalism the entire duration of my aunts stay. Thank you again for nurturing and giving her a great experience.

University Nursing Home is one of a kind. The staff are very friendly and provide excellent care to their patients. Since they are a small center, it allows the staff to give more attention to each patient-which is a lot better than a conventional big nursing home. I have had two family members stay at University for short term rehab, and our family only has good things to say. From our parents two stays here, we can see that the staff are here for the right reasons, and truly love and care for their patients. The Administrator Izzy and Director of Nursing Ms Brown are very involved, kind and attentive-working with us to get our loved ones better and back home to us.
