UNM Outpatient Pharmacy

Very rude and was unable to get pain meds for wife surgery. They sent text saying meds ready you go there and they said only on surgery day then they put them back before surgery because we didn't pick then up. Unfortunately have to give 1 star when they deserve a 0 Zero

They are ruthless here, called last year to get unm care since I lost my insurance at the beginning of the year. Scheduled me in March to get help. AND THEY REFUSED TO HELP ME PAY FOR MY MEDICATION EVEN THOUGH I QUILIFIED LAST YEAR. They said they will not help till after my appointment. So I have to go 3 months without my medication.

Despite recent cosmetic improvements (see also below about ♀'s restroom), UNM Outpatient Pharmacy at 1209 University has always been & continues to be mediocre or less (I've had to use the place for decades). Right hand rarely knows what left hand is doing. Counter service varies from merely competent to outright rude to astonishingly dumb. Phone staff are usually bored and in a ridiculous rush to NOT to be on the phone with you. The only thing that USED to work fairly smoothly was the MedMail service that you could sign up for & your scripts/refills would mail out to your address automatically once requested; but now they are sometimes, sometimes-not requiring advance copays for amounts less than $1.50 total (used to be you mailed payment for everything – and I've received 7 or more scri

I went here for the Tricore lab and I was provided with great service. The providers were quick, kind and it was comfortable.

Great staff, wait time is not long at all to get prescriptions, they also have a clinic inside the pharmacy.
