Urgent Care Clinic - A Service of Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Rural Health

Staff was fast, friendly and helpful. I was in and out of there under 2hrs, I sliced my finger pretty good and the nurse practitioner taped my finger together and made me a water proof finger protector with a latex glove and tape, she prescribed me some antibiotics incase it gets infected I wouldn't need to return to UC, now that's good thinking! On the way out there was a desk with resources like food banks in the area, housing for the homeless and other resources. I would definitely like to recommend going to this urgent care.

The wait wasnt long as it was sunday morning. However I was never weighed by them. And due to my symptoms, they had me do a uti test. Which came back inconclusive. So I was told stomach bug and given anti nausea. I find it odd they never do blood tests to rule out other things. But was told if my symptoms worsened, to go to the ER. So, I feel like it was a waste of my time, and should've just gone to the ER in the first place.

The wait time was extremely long — about an hour and a half before I was taken back. I went in concerned about a possible ear infection. While I understand the need for COVID and flu testing, once my ears were examined, I was told the PA couldn’t help because my eardrum wasn’t visible. No effort was made to clean my ear or remove the blockage so a proper exam could be done. I ultimately left without treatment for the reason I came in. This experience felt inefficient and unhelpful, especially after such a long wait.

I cut my hand pretty bad yesterday so I went to urgent care to get it glued and taped up. And a tetanus shot. I received excellent care from Aubrey and Carol! Very caring and compassionate. I hate going to doctors but I'm really happy I went!

It was a busy day at urgent care on this day I went. They informed me ahead of time that it was at least two hour wait. However, it wasn’t too bad to wait and when I did get in, I was informed on what I needed to do. Also, the provider encouraged me to get with my primary doctor on my situation.
