Urgent Care of Latham, Community Care Physicians

Wow. Brought my girlfriend here because she wasn’t feeling well over a few weeks. We got in reception says “what’s wrong?…name? DOB? Sign here. 45. Take a seat” not a hello or anything. just rude, didn’t care, if you hate your job then do something else. Apparently the nurse was no better and didn’t even give her the time of day. I get things get rough but at a minimum treat your patients like people and not a burden. Rather give the insurance money and co pay to someone who at least fakes it. Raised to 2 stars though because wait time was fast, unfortunately probably because everyone else knew to stay away

I brought my 85 year old mother here twice. Each time, my mother did not receive the care she needed. The staff treated her as if she were a burden. They were too busy or too important to address my mother's needs. Each time, I ended up taking her to a different facility where she was treated with compassion and care. There is nothing urgent about the staff or care that patiients receive at this facility. Urgent care of Latham, CCP needs to change their name from Urgent Care to We Don't Care.

This place is terrible, I am sick with the flu and my primary told me to come here if I felt I was getting worse so I did. When the nurse took me in, I explained just that and the nurse said “ok so why are you here? Those are symptoms of the flu.” I told her exactly that my primary told me to go there if I felt worse, trouble breathing and dark urine. She actually giggled and said “uh ok. Your Dr will be right in”. The dr saw me for not even a minute. Looked at my throat didn’t even listen to me and prescribed me prednisone and I was out. Felt extremely unheard and the staff didn’t care at all, receptionist weren’t welcoming one bit either. Wouldn’t even look at me when checking in. This is my second time coming here following my primary’s orders and I’m never coming back here. The first t

Went to urgent care of Latham an I would go back again if needed . The receptionist was very polite and knew her profession. And the medical assistant was very good got me in and out within a hour .

Went to this facility with coughing , headache , chills , burning throat , stuffy nose , and shortness of breath . My other household members had bronchitis and they were all treated with antibiotics. The lady doctor Suzy told me that all I need is Benzotate cough drops , which burst my mouth and tongue. I called and talked to the nurse and she did not want to treat me properly . Very disappointed with the level of care I received here. Had to pay a $ 25 copay plus insurance . Very poor service . Had to go to another facility. I do not recommend this facility .
