We just picked up a prescription from this location for the first time and we had the best and friendliest receptionist. She was professional but also loved chatting with my girls who are 1 and 3. I will definitely request to pick up from this location again.
I have been caring for my mother for a year now. Every single time I have called the USAFA Pharmacy I have been met with exemplary service. Every single person I have spoken to has been extremely helpful, supportive and kind. Airman Mitchell walked me through the process of ordering my mother’s medications online. Miss Rosa patiently went through all of the medications with me over the phone when I called in once to make sure nothing was missed. There is not a single person there that has not been kind and respectful and understanding. AND many times, the prescriptions are ready for pick up before they actually tell you. So, if you are able, you can pick them up earlier than promised. I wish civilian pharmacies were this efficient! Thank you all so very much!
So fast and easy to navigate. Scripts done within the hour.
My husband went to pick up a refill for my prescription that was suppose to be ready on Monday after 2:00 pm and they said I had no prescription refill. I do not know what the problem is at this pharmacy. It is not run properly. I worked at the AF Academy as a Secretary a long time ago but it seems to have gone down hill. Now I have to call in my refill again & I might run out of my prescription.
I would give them zero if I could. They used to have numbers for the refill line, but got rid of them years ago. No we have to wait in a line that, at times, is similar to the Matterhorn at Disneyland. The other day, there were over 60 people in line (line went all the way to the post office). And the majority are elderly and have a hard time standing for that long. I have complained for years for them to fix this problem but they just don't care (including the academy commander). I will be writing to Washington next. Not they won't allow us to activate our new prescriptions over the phone, which makes the wait time even longer. They say that the current phone system can't handle the load of people calling in. Really? Than they need to update the phone system of increase the staff
