UTMB Health Urgent Care, League City Campus

Staff is generally nice. But I came in to get a simple procedure done and stated as such in all the forms. They failed to tell me that they don't even do what I was asking for and happily took my money with zero sympathy. There was so many opportunities to share that they don't do it...never coming here again. I basically came in just to get my weight checked

I have now had too many issues with care to continue going to UTMB at any facility. The following has occurred over the course of roughly 3-4 years 1. I was referred to physical therapy. I stopped going when I arrived to one appointment telling me I had to pay in full for the appt and owed for the previous one. No communication, non-transparent billing and I was going weekly. Avoidable. 2. Having issues with hearing, I was referred to ENT. She told me there was nothing she could do about that, wouldn't even give it the time of day then proceeded to instruct the nurses to have me perform a breathing assessment. The nurse said it's hard to get it right but I left with a prescription for an inhaler nonetheless. Went in for hearing and was assessed for breathing?? 3. Urgent care on the top

Myself, my kids, and my grandkids have been coming to this urgent care for years. The doctors and nurses here are always so kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about their patients. They’re not only professional but also have a great sense of humor, which makes every visit less stressful. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you’re taken care of. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I’m NEVER going back to this urgent care again. While the other staff were nice, the provider I saw was dismissive when I asked questions about my kid’s symptoms. He acted annoyed and just pointed to a handout, saying everything was written there. If that’s the kind of care they provide, I could’ve just Googled it myself. I’ll be going to a different urgent care next time.

Went to urgent care today and the physician assistant Maylin gerardo-lopez and nurse Lydia. Thank you for tending to me today and all my questions. UTMB has always been good to me since I moved here in 2022. Thank you again
