I had a deeply disappointing and distressing experience at UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital, largely due to the unprofessionalism of Dr. Susana Miravet and the clinic's overall approach to care. My two-year-old Great Dane, Vixen, was in critical condition with suspected bloat, and the care provided was nothing short of negligent. From the moment I arrived, the focus seemed to be on financial transactions rather than my dog’s health. Despite repeatedly asking the staff to prioritize her care, I was subjected to constant demands for payment, totaling nearly $5,000, before they would proceed with treatment. Have had patients for years at VMTH. Currently at Oncology and, even tho we don't like being there, the staff make it easier by being so nice when we bring our cat in for care.

They really got my dog in quickly! Within 2 weeks, she was getting CT scans with next day surgery!!
