Vision Plus of Barkley

I just wanted to thank the team at Vision Plus of Barkley for an excellent experience. The online booking made things easy (and I even got an appointment on the same day!), Dr McGill was wonderful ... both in performing the eye exam and then in explaining the results. Teagan completed the great experience by patiently guiding me through picking out a pair of glasses. I would highly recommend this business!

Robert and Slader (correct me if I'm wrong) were super freaking awesome and Robert was able to get my glasses back in shape even better than when I first got them, definitely earned a new customer and I'll definitely come back here if i need new glasses or if these break again.

I went there for my yearly exam and contact Lenz prescription, which i didn't get no matter how many times I asked. His final words to me was that they won't be able to give me my contact lens prescription even after the exam because it's the regulation. Which regulations? According to FTC they cannot refuse any patient their contact lens prescription. Now, they might come up with other excuses, but bottom line is they are breaking the law by refusing it. I've been going there for many years, different locations, requesting my contact lens prescription, and every time they've been refusing me after my contact lens exam, Obviously Vision Plus's rules beats the FTC rules, I guess. What a nightmare. But this ain't over yet.

Robert at Vision Plus Barkley is proof that customer service is an invaluable skill that is not yet dead. He manages to simultaneously be knowledgeable and efficient yet kind, patient, and understanding of client’s needs. Robert helped me get new lenses with my prescription in my grandmother’s vintage frames. The turnaround was incredibly fast and I trusted them with a family heirloom. I always appreciate how well run this shop is. Thanks for your hard work!

Highly recommend!! I needed a new prescription as well as a new eye doctor, and took a chance on Vision Plus due to the location and convenience of online scheduling. I had to reschedule after I had already uploaded insurance info etc and that was handled without any hassles. The appointment itself was fast (in a good way) and I was able to avoid the dreaded pupil dilation thanks to modern technology and a $30 co-pay. Office staff were super friendly & helpful, as was the optometrist. Don't let the location scare you off! Give Vision Plus Barkley a try.
