Vista Larga Animal Hospital

I am blessed I changed vets and am coming here. The vets and staff are amazing. The office is clean, inviting and very peaceful and relaxing. All of the patients I saw were happy and smiling. Staff is knowledgeable and kind. I discovered my previous vet of 21 years was being very negligent with my dog. I'm so grateful a friend recommended Vista Larga.

Fantastic hospital for your pet. Our dog Mac was attacked by a large dog and was bleeding out. We stoped at a different vet for help and they said come back in 4 hours. I said my dog will be dead in 4 hours. We stoped at Vista Largo for help and they immediately took Mac in and repaired the hole in the roof of his mouth made by the attack and saved his life. I can’t recommend vista largo enough.

I would highly recommend this veterinarian. I heard of them through Lap Dog rescue of New Mexico. I used to bring my dog Brinkley here (who sadly passed away). Now I bring my current dog Patches here. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable, patient, and kind - especially Dr. Coleman and Dr. Averhoff. I feel like they truly care about your pet, and always look out for their best interests over a profit. They are also affordable compared to other veterinarian offices in Albuquerque. I will drive the extra 30 minutes just to go here.

This is the best vets office in the East Mountains! I’ve taken my beloved Mastiff to Dr. Averhoff at Vista Larga for almost 11 years, since she was a puppy. Yesterday I had to make the toughest decision to get her humanely euthanized and Dr. Averhoff and her tech were there to tell my girl how loved she was and to comfort me. My pup passed in a room of people who cared about her very much and I’ll be eternally grateful for that! If you want a vet that truly cares about your pets, I highly recommend Vista Larga Animal Hospital!

Always a good experience for my five dogs. Vets are knowledgeable and have great bedside manners. I feel I'm always in good hands .
