Visual Processing Optometry

Doctor and staff are kind. Office is clean and welcoming. I didn’t have to wait long with was great. They took me out of my comfort zone when it comes to frames and now I’m in love with my new frames. Best part for me is that they are open Saturdays. Highly recommend this office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Etting’s since 2014 when I would have weekly vision therapy appointments. I currently live in Denver, Colorado so all of my doctors are there now. Except I fly home every 6 months to see Dr. Etting because I will not have another eye doctor until the dreaded day when he retires. When I started vision therapy with him I couldn’t see out of my right eye but because of him I now can and my vision has only progressed. There isn’t a better eye doctor in the world than Dr. Etting!

I went to get checked for prism glasses and did the full assesment, they were super friendly and Dr. Jackie made me feel super comfortable, from the first test we realized that I indeed needed prism glasses, I cannot believe that a lot of my problems came from that! From not being able to walk down stairs or escalators without freaking out or having to hold on to the side, to being so scared of heights and getting dizzy in the car when I am the passenger. After getting my glasses and doing the therapy and exercises I was able to get on a hot air balloon, I don't even think when I go on escalators and I am comfortable during car rides. I am so thankful that I found dr Jackie and everyone who helped me at Visual processing optometry!

My daughter has been coming in for eye therapy for about 3 months. Everyone she has seen and worked with has been phenomenal! Dr. Liz did her initial evaluation and exam. She made my daughter comfortable and explained everything as she worked through the exam. Dr. Kim has been conducting her weekly therapy sessions and she has been amazing in every way possible. Kamy is amazing with my daughter and is always very attentive and helpful when we have questions or concerns. Judy was great in helping us get properly fitted for our glasses as well. Everyone in the office is professional and very welcoming. Even on the days that were hard for my daughter everyone was patient, kind and showed empathy. The care my daughter receives as a patient is above and beyond what I expected when we started. I
