Walgreens Pharmacy

Avoid this pharmacy Pharmacy had over 5 hours to place an item in a bag. Went in 2 hours after my doctor sent the script, they didn't even have it on file yet. Went many hours later, waited in the drive through lane for 20 minutes (only 1 car ahead of me). Got told it's not ready and to circle around.

Walgreens is just horrible everywhere I go, from Mississippi to Maryland it's always the same thing, make you wait DAYS for your script, barley can talk to anyone, you ask for a call back, it never happens. I don't get the LUNCH thing... can't they put 1 person on, 1 person off for lunch since their so far behind schedules 😕. Switching pharmacy as of now, this folks were ok, but must of the time the employee's have a bad attitude,like they hate working their 🤷

Waited in drive thru line for about 10 minutes behind 2 cars, just to pull up to the window with a sign that says closed. Girl picks up the phone and said “we are closed for lunch and will reopen at 2” mind you, it was 1:28pm and was in line well before the “closed for lunch 1:30-2” time. This place is slower than molasses and such a joke, not to mention they take days for some prescriptions to be filled.

The customer service here is abysmal. I wish this were just me overreacting to one instance but they repeatedly fail to fill prescriptions in a timely manner, fail to communicate as to why prescriptions are delayed, and ignore you when you come. I have sat in the car lane for over 10 minutes before without anyone even acknowledging my existence. And they act like you have no right to be frustrated or question their repeated snafus. After 18 months of living in Eldersburg I've finally realized that it's not just one or two rude employees who are responsible for this. This location is just systemically inefficient, dysfunctional, and apathetic to your health concerns. Unprofessional staff. They hang up on you, speak to you like you are a drug seeking delinquent. My prescription was two days early to fill, I explained I had a flight leaving to Las Vegas later that day and offered to show her my plane ticket. The pharmacist said she would NOT fill the RX two days early and that I would need to contact my doctors office (it’s a Saturday mind you) and have my doctor send my RX to a pharmacy in VEGAS to fill! The pharmacist was speaking to me and about me in the background while on the phone with the rude tech who was unprofessional and frankly unknowledgeable to say the least.
