WholeLife Direct Primary Care

I am currently looking to do a catastrophic plan paired with a Direct Primary Care plan. The purpose of this was to avoid the insane premiums your typical insurance providers charge. Her website says "Insurance companies have placed increasing demands on physicians, requiring high volumes of patients and exhaustive documentation. The lack of control of her patient’s experience prompted Dr. Talton to pursue Direct Primary Care, a newer model of medicine which removes the barriers insurance companies create between physician and patient." However, they require you to have an insurance plan to be a patient? Kind of defeats the purpose of what her website says, and there is no where on the website that I saw that indicated you needed an insurance plan.

Dr. Talton is an exceptional physician. I have known her for many years, and she is not only extremely knowledgeable in the field of medicine, but is also approachable, relatable and incredibly compassionate. I would trust her with my life, and the lives of those I love. I highly recommend her direct primary care practice!

Dr. Talton provides excellent care and she is just what I needed after being served poorly by traditional primary care. Not only medically very knowledgeable but she is very personable and gets to know her patients as people.

Why this healthcare model? Convenience and customer service- two things Dr. Talton sets the bar with. Direct Primary Care has exceeded my expectation, I feel listened to and feel the health plan Dr. Talton developed with me is custom to me and my lifestyle, not a cookie cutter response to get patients in and out the door. I have been very pleased with my membership and plan to renew.

I would not recommend this doctor to anybody she stands at her front door and guards her parking spaces. and runs everybody off that she doesn't recognize as her own patient. A little courtesy, professional demeanor and personal hygiene goes a long way with your credibility and your communication skills. This doctor could obviously use a personal shopper to help achieve a professional appearance. What a shame that a "professional doctor" has to be so rude and inconsiderate to persons with disabilities!
