WK Quick Care Kids - South

First, I will say that we got there close to closing(around 6:30), and I also understand that the staff are people who of course get tired. However, the overall experience was past HORRIBLE! I took my toddler in because she had a small piece of apple stuck in her nose. She’s a TODDLER, so of course she’s scared when anyone comes close to her with a bright light. There was no attempt to remove it all because my daughter got scared. The doctor barely looked at my child, all she said was “yeah, we’re electing to send her to the ER, they need to sedate her. She left the room, left me and my child standing there, a nurse closed the door, and the rest of the staff cleared out. We never received discharge papers, the doctor didn’t even make an introduction! Needless to say, I took my baby to CHRI

don’t waste your time coming here. my sick toddler & I went to get tested for covid/strep & the nurse practitioner (Karen i believe) told me to, “hurry up I have other patients to see” multiple times while my sick child was crying & i was trying to get her to calm down so we could weigh her. We had not even been in the room for a minute before she started telling me to hurry up & questioning why I was even there. definitely not a good place to take your kid even though it’s a quick care for kids. once i said something about her telling me to hurry up, the staff wanted to look at me like I was the crazy one & didn’t even acknowledge how we were treated. do better!!

What a waste of $75! The receptionist was very rude. She did not greet customers and acted as if she really didn’t want to be bothered. Not a very friendly person. Then the doctor told me they didn’t run labs at this location. The doctor said he couldn’t find a reason why my son had tingling and pain in his arms and legs. He recommended my son follow up with his physician (which only could be done three days later on a Monday). The next day, my son still felt bad, so I took him to another facility. The other facility ran tests and was able to immediately diagnose my son with diabetes. I’m grateful for the other facility, but Quick Care is the worst. They should have the same capabilities other urgent care centers have.

I brought my child here because she’s been having constant stomach issues. The front desk staff started talking rudely about me before we even made it back to see the doctor. The NERVE to judge a first time mom is mind blowing, plus saying it loud enough where everyone in the waiting room can hear. Do not go here.

The NP was great. But if I could leave a zero star for the staff I would. It was a ghost town in there, yet it took 2 hours to get in and out. They had no air on in the building. I will not be returning. The woman at the front desk treated me poorly, like we were an inconvenience. I received better care at an outside private quick care than at WK. Never thought I'd see the day.
