Buffalo General Hospital

How does a person get transferred over from urgent care to be seen as an emergency patient, to just be sitting in the emergency department!!! This place is horrible!!! No wonder the survival rate is low!!! This hospital is nasty, the workers don't care. I'm from out of town and do you think that while I'm out here on vacation that This is where someone would want to be?! If people look at the reviews, I hope that many see this and skip being seen here, especially if you have an emergency, please go somewhere else!!!

The dirtiest most disgusting and depressing hospital. Doctors ignore you even after being paged multiple times. They leave you for 30hrs with no updates, no plan in place, no test results. I’m completely and utterly disgusted. If this is modern medicine, we’re doomed. Update, as if it couldn’t get any worse. After a pointless stay (we found out later that after reviewing test results, the doctor did not want my mother admitted but rather referred to a specialist for further testing)…anyway after a week we found d her a bed in a rehab facility. The hospital discharged her and arranged for transportation but failed to tell the rehab that my mother would be arriving that afternoon! So when we got there they looked very surprised and they told us that it was a common problem with Buf Gen. NEV

I was sent from another hospital to Buffalo General for abdominal pain. Although they were very busy, I felt they did a very good job getting me in and taken care of. The surgeons were very informative. The nursing staff was wonderful. My only complaint is as in most hospitals, they come in at 4 am to draw blood and do vitals. Please just let people sleep.

Awful Experience had back surgery and they just were awful!!! I will highly not recommend this hospital even to my worst enemy! What a joke!

The whole staff took such good care of my mom at the cardiac dept also at the er and the other cardiac facility in between the er and the front entrance . Dr badaia and this team and the nurses went above and beyond . Thank u to the patient advocate for checking in on us about a concern we had . She was very professional.
